500 Wörter in 15 Themen – jeweils mit Übersetzung und einem Beispielsatz. Alles eigener Wortschatz nach Häufigkeit, kein Lehrwerk.

Warum ein Grundwortschatz mehr bringt als 3.000 Einzelwörter

Rund 500 Wörter decken etwa drei Viertel der Wörter ab, die in einfachen englischen Texten tatsächlich vorkommen. Wer diese 500 sicher kann, versteht den Rest oft aus dem Zusammenhang – genau deshalb lohnt sich dieser Block vor jedem Speziallernen.

Die Liste ist nach 15 Themen sortiert. Nimm dir ein Thema pro zwei Tage vor: 15 neue Wörter am Tag plus die Wiederholungen vom Vortag sind für die meisten Schüler machbar. Mehr dazu unter Wie viele Vokabeln pro Tag?

So lernst du die Liste am schnellsten

  1. Thema einmal laut durchlesen – die Aussprache lernst du gleich mit.
  2. Übersetzungsspalte abdecken und zehn Wörter aus dem Kopf aufschreiben.
  3. Fehler markieren und nur die Fehler am nächsten Tag wiederholen.
  4. Nach einer Woche das ganze Thema noch einmal abfragen.
